CPO 2011 335i sedan
I've been looking at this listing from a bmw dealer for about a week hoping it doesn't sell. It has prem package, sports package, M-package, navi, blue tooth etc. It has 3000k miles, it was a loaner. That may be a negative factor. The asking originally on the website was $51,900 which is high as hell. They have since lowered it to $42900. I was probably gonna go down to the dealership this weekend to test drive it. I was wondering is it easier to negotiate via email first or go in person then nego over phone/email a day later? Would you guys think it is possible for a otd price of $40k with taxes included so basically a selling price of about $37-38?

You can always try to get lower, but that sounds like a reasonable price already. I've been trying to negotiate on a similar car (see thread that named "demo car") and the lowest I've gotten them to so far is 47k plus tax/title/shipping.

I see the car you are looking at. I was actually considering that one as well for my wife but no heated seats was a deal breaker for her little ass which is always cold. Also just FYI it is not CPO, though low mileage. There is also 0.9% financing on new 2011 that this may qualify for. Good luck, I'm sure you can get them to drop another grand or two.
