Black Roof on AW E92

I am probably looking to do my black roof this year, but still not sure if I want to do it..

What do you guys think of black roof on a non-M E92s?

Too ricy?

Would you think this car with black roof would be a M-wannabe?

IF you do go black roof, "how" would you do it?

I have mixed feelings... I think Craigs looks great painted, I think the CF overlay also would look cool. The vinyl wrap, I dont know... thought about it myself, but will probably just leave it AW. Good Luck

i have it vinyled... and it looks like it's painted honestly... only if you get about 6-10 inches from it can you tell its not paint (and thats only if you look at the rail areas)...

DON'T paint it because it's much more money and you have to paint it back when you sell it..

do it! but i would only do the glossy black. i hate the matte with the shine of the sunroof.

I thought glossy would shine more?

I am still thinking... i used to think the black roof is a bit tacky........

oh yea mine is glossy... i forgot to mention that... and glossy is the perfect shine compared to oem paint..

i got my painted and it looks good vinyl looks good to but make sure u take it to soneone that know how to do it perfect cuz i had it done by a dumbass and had to remove it and then just did the paint

Paint is the only way to make it look Right. Hit up MAC to get it painted!

i hear you.. MAC did a great job on craig@supremepower's car... if you can afford the paint job get it done because i dont think you can compare them... reason why i would vinyl (and id test it myself) is that i am not sure if i would like it on the lemans... however if i knew i wanted it and planned on keeping it i would go paint (esp. non-leased car)

MAC charges an arm and a leg for anything they do...

They probably do great jobs.

I think AW with a black roof looks good as long as there are other things done to the car (like a drop/wheels, lip). In your case it would look great! Do whatever you like, despite what others may think. Ultimately it's YOUR car. So if you're happy with it, then that's all that matters.

yea, I have KW/BBS/mtech/m3 side skirts, etc.. but i have no tune (jb or procedes, the likes).

I dont know.. i am still deciding..

I kinda like the look, but i think the look is a little "tacky" or how do I put it.. like a wanna-be M or something.. which I dont really want..

I have mixed feeling.. i guess I just want to spend money and dont know what to buy..
