Phone has been used for 10-11 months. The phone was NOT kept in a case. I would rate it a 7/10. I found that using a case caused more scratches than just putting it in my pocket. Back of the phone has light scratches from not having a case and setting it down on tables, etc. Front screen has a light 1" scratch that is not deep, but can be seen at certain light angles. there is a slight dent near where the cable plugs in - I have no idea how it got there.

The phone has never been dropped and does not have water damage. I will have pics up tomorrow.

PS. not jailbroken or unlocked, but that's easy to do yourself if you choose to purchase. software is 3.1.2.

Where is the 1 inch scratch on the front? In the black areas or in on the actual screen part?

no idea. it was used with AT&T. Will update with latest software before I ship out if you wish - I know it's on atleast the 2nd version of the 3.0.

the scratch really isnt visible. it's on the screen area. when you're looking at the phone dead on, you can't see it. however, when you look at it from a certain angle with good lighting, you can see it. i doubt it will even show up in the pics.

just go to settings...about...and let me know the firmware and baseband. all the info is on that page.

if you are referring to modem firmware, it is 05.11.07. nothing else labeled firmware on the about page. also, not sure what baseband is, as there is nothing labeled that.

yeah, the modem firmware IS the baseband.

yea do not update it.

your iphone can be unlocked and therefore worth a little more then a regular one

3.1.2 or before can be unlocked! 3.1.3 cannot!
