Am I the only person that likes this?
I would think so, but I thought I'd post to see what you guys think.
I got my LUX 5s and installed them. I love them except for one thing...they are too white. Yep, I said it. I don't like how white they are. To others the bright white is perfect, but for me, I'm looking for a different look. The reason why I want the angel eyes to be a bit yellow is because I have my angel eyes acting as my DRLs. I've noticed that the yellower the light is the better you are able to see them in the daytime. I hardly noticed the super white lights in the daytime. Why did I get the LUX 5s if I like the yellower look to begin with? The answer is brightness. I want my angel eyes to be bright but not white. The LUX 5s are much brighter than the stock lights. How did I do it? I took a yellow sharpie and colored the fiber optic tips yellow. This can be done with any color, but the darker the color, the dimmer the light (of course). I'll take daytime pics tomorrow so you guys can see what I'm talking about. So, what do you guys think? Am I crazy?

I think it looks cool, definitely very original
Sucks if you want to go back to stock color, white or a different color tho since you sharpied the fiber optic tips, not to sure if you can reverse that. As long as you like it, thats all that counts!

Very ballsy.
Hey, if you like it- good for you! Not my cup of tea, but I bet its very noticeable against the white of the xenons. From the picture it looks like there's quite a bit of brightness lost. How does it compare in person? Still visible during the day?

You're crazy.. j/k
It's unique.. that's wat I would say when I see one.. but it sort of reminds me of this person in this forum that showed off his/her MB with his/her new pink xenon lights..

It's raining here, but there's enough daylight to see how much better the yellow angel eyes show up.
The yellow are soo much brighter in the daytime.

I really like it Mr.5. The yellow provides really nice contrast.
In France all cars are required to have two yellow lights on the front for contrast during inclement weather. |

I think it looks pretty good. Like the others have said, get some fogs to match that color and it would be even better.
You could also try with a different shade of yellow, or something. Regardless, it is very original and if you get some fogs to match it would be even better....
