Try to use a block of wood or a jack to keep the intercooler level should help as well if you're doing it by yourself.

Tiago (or anyone who has completed install), are the included clamps two different sizes?

I have the front left and back right on perfectly. Back left is on good but clamp seems a little too big, and front right won't wrap around where it needs to go. It seems logical that they are different sizes but I haven't heard anyone mention it and just want to clarify for future reference

They are two different sizes. The larger ones go on the intercooler, smaller on the car

When I checked again it was pretty obvious lol

I finally got it on and everything put back, went for a quick spin and went into limp mode after 2 minutes...threw a P30FF, where should I be checking?

Check all the couplers my friend, P30FF means you have a significant boost leak

You probably popped off one of the couplers due to not tightening the t-bolt enough! Happens to the best of us.

+1

on the tbolts there needs to be about an inch sticking out on the bolt (if that makes sense)

it does, thx for the quick feedback guys. really appreciated

i do know i have the t-bolts clamped very tightly but one or two of the couplers might not be that far onto the intercooler opening (laziness/frustation by me as it would not pull over it any more), would that cause a leak even if the t-bolt was extremely tightened?

i totally would have let my shop do it but the kid quoted me at 4 hours labor for some reason

No prob,
What I mean is you need to tighten it so there is about 1" of bolt sticking out of the nut (as you tighten the t-bolt nut it travels down the bolt)

These are awesome! All I need to see for me to make my decision is a pull from 1-4th or 2-5th .. to see how much it heatsoaks and how much temp drop there... But all this data so far looks great.

That is a HUGE difference. I might have to jump on this 7in core. I didnt originally wanna cut that much.. and I was afraid of the larger pressure drop.. but seeing these results and the price of the unit makes me want to give it a try.

Waiting for Fedex guy... all day...

Comparison with stock, definitely a bit cleaner.

Mounted and trimmed, cut off a lot more that I initially thought, spent too much time trimming when it could've been 2 cuts and done.

Test fit M3 rep before paint. More pictures and some logs on the way after paint. Very happy so far, thanks VRSF I'm definitely glad I waited.

Just got mine today. Looks good from what I can tell. Fins look perfect, which usually never happens, so that's appreciated. I was planning on changing my cooling pump and thermostat today and finish by installing this, but I ran into a few issues so I won't have it installed until the weekend now.

Anyone that got their intercooler get the VRSF logo stenciled in? I'd love to see pictures if anyone did.
