probably couldn't get the performance improvements they were looking for.

significant investments in R&D is needed to get any tangible and reliable performance gains.

LOL. Love the speculation. But.... No. They haven't been installed yet. Our test car put down baseline numbers that led us to believe something is either wrong with the tune or the car, so we are working with the owner right now to get that sorted out, so we can get an accurate baseline and post dyno.

Im sure they will vary somewhat but how is significant R&D required for 2 new twins. These are most likely going to be similar to RBs and or ASR depending on the actuators etc. I dont believe the require a modified manifold or anything. But hey I am just basing that info off 2 teasing pictures. AR is a good company and puts plenty of R&D into all their products.

Cant wait for numbers and or update

Forget him. Ship them to me. I'll take care of this

Hopefully these end up being a good and affordable alternative to the RB's.

in order for them to sell, and sell well, they have to prove their twin turbos are better than stock, RBs, and ASR. what is the use of introducing something that is similar to stock, RBs, and ASRs.

the incremental, sometimes marginal, performance gains could lead to exponential increase in R&D costs (i.e. Formula 1).

Well ASR is not exactly trusted by a lot of the more seasoned board members on here. And RB makes his turbos on the side. So he's limited by manufacturing costs.

Hopefully AR is able to release a quality turbo upgrade produced in house, thus keeping price reasonable and with good results.

Everyone should stop worrying about a turbo upgrade...

Our cars are more than fast enough at 400+whp and people need to learn how to control that.

The twin turbo upgrade is sitting on the shelf right next to their radiator upgrade and single turbo upgrade.

Power is like a crack addiction. The more you gain, the more you want. Otherwise, one is just better off not touching the car at all. N55 owners are fortunate in that sense - no options to blow your money on

Not everyone on here are real drivers (road course) like us.....they usually live a quarter mile at a time. I kid, I kid. But I agree.....I wonder how many people who post sh*t are acutally going to be purchasing a $3,500 upgrade. I have a feeling most people are full of hot air and just like to stir the pot vs. acutally buying the product.

I for one, am a 15 year old living with my parents. I'm given a small allowance for washing the dishes. Don't rain on my parade man. If I only wash enough of these dishes then I will be able to afford some nice new turbos so I can smoke all my noob friends who don't even have cars yet.
