new e90 dme help

I am rebuilding a bmw 328 for personal use.it has a dme with some water damgage.two of the terminals are shot one I belive is unused.does anyone repair these?is this old unit of any use if I buy a new one?does anyone know where I can get a 2007 e90 dme and does it need to be programmed? thanks and sorry for the long post

Well, if it's got water damage it's toast. AFAIK there is nobody that repairs DME's. A new one from a BMW dealer will be expensive and WILL require programming.

I purchased a new one and am awaiting arrival . I am trying to get the car to crank or starter to engage.I did notice a small led flashing under the drivers dash. thanks
