18x8 & 18x8.5 staggered set of CSLs?
Looking for a set of CSLs that are roughly the same dimensions as the stock 189s on my car - don't want to buy new tires as mine are nearly new - but most of the really good sets are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. I think 8.5" and 9.5" might be a bit too wide for 225s and 255s. (aside from clearance issues as well). Anyone out there know of any 18" CSL-style wheels in Hyper Silver or Hyper Black or even machined finish that come in 8" and 8.5" staggered sets or can be bought separately in those widths?
I've read mixed reviews in this forum on running 225s on 8.5" wheels, which would be like putting my front tires on my rear wheels. Some say it depends on the tire brand as to whether or not they'd be too stretched. I have stock sport suspension and am running Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric non-runflats. Don't want to mess with spacers and strange offsets, so any useful info here would be most appreciated.

The setup that is going to work best with your 2007 BMW E92 335i is the 18x8.5 ET40 with a 225/40/18 in the front and 18x9.5 ET33 and 255/35/18 in the rear for the perfect fit and you will not run into any issues at all. I'll shoot you over a PM with a bit more details

225/40 is a perfectly acceptable tire size for an 18x8.5 wheel as is a 255/35 for an 18x9.5. This may give a slightly stretched look but this really depends on tire make/model as different brands tend to differ in tread width and sidewall design. By no means will they be too stretched to perform properly though. We've had many customers run that tire combo without any issues
As long as the offsets are matched properly to your car, you can have a bolt-on setup that doesn't rub.

Thanks, but I already purchased wheels from someone who messaged me privately - they're the same size as my original 189s and I know my tires will fit perfectly.
