313 19" upgrades
I recently sold my flat and have some extra cash to place with and looking at various options to upgrade my e92 325d M Sport.
I am looking to refresh the look of the car by maybe updating the wheels from mv4 19" to 313 19". eBay seem to have various ones and I note CM Wheels have 4 for sale. Guessing replicas based on their prices. Whats peoples opinions on the 313 replicas? Yay or nay? Thanks.

A lot of people buy the replicas and are happy with them.
I don't think the 313s reps look quite 100%, but most would never notice. A couple of BMW dealers are selling 313s with runflat tyres for £1550 and they only have done delivery mileage only. A few guys from here bought them. If you are in need of new tyres and can live with runflats, that's a good deal. Otherwise sell the tyres to offset the purchase price. |

Reps or real I'm not a fan of 313s, don't see what the big deal with them is?!
If I had £1500-£1600 to spend on wheels I'd be looking for something different/special. |

Runflats have been really hit and miss with me. My wife has a 120d M Sport on Dunlop run flats and whilst I appreciate the alloys are slightly smaller, the ride is good.
I have Bridgestones and they really are as solid. In an ideal world I am really not keen on keeping with the run flats. Dilemma I am in is that I have pretty decent tread on all 4 tyres, and really would like to think that I could get a good return if I sold these and the alloys on ebay. Anyone know the difference between the reps and the originals before I make my decision?

******** offer great range of reps but I wouldn't buy 313 reps , they just don't look right. Only genuine 313 imo.

Get Genuine 313's mate, they look great on an e92, more so than any other wheel, as mentioned previously they are £1550 on eBay of which u can recoup atleast £800 on the tyres?

I have 313s but think there getting too common now especially after the dealers started doing them cheaper. They do look great but are a nightmare to keep perfect. I'd maybe look out for some 269 alloys if you wanted to stay OEM

I bought a set of the 'new' delivery mileage ones from BMW Direct - aside from delivery issues they are great ... but I am paranoid taking the car out - I have never known an alloy wheel so easy to scuff! It is the wheel not the driver obviously

313's look the nuts, schnitzer have 19" wheels on offer at the moment for £299 per wheel, may be worth considering. avoid bridgestone tyres, I have Pirelli runflats and you cant tell the difference between them and non runflats. I would personally avoid reps though.

I had Pirelli RFT's on my last 313's. I have Michelin tyres on the current ones and they are fine too - not as grippy as the Pirelli P-Zero's but that may just be due to our c**p weather at the moment.
I have driven many BMW's at work and my own and have found it is not so much the RFT's as the way the suspension is set up - on 530d's I hate the RFT's or did until I drove a 10 plate one ... completely different. My 320d was on RFT's and MV3's ... the 313's with RFT's were in a completely different league and it didn't have a harder ride either ! |
