Thanks
Ah yes, OSS blackouts are definitely on my wish list. I should have pulled the lights and sent them out while the car was in the shop but kept putting it off and had already spent too much on the car by that point lol. I hate my orange reflectors; I've tried a few of those sticker things that are supposed to cover them up but ended up pulling them off after 30 minutes because they looked cheap to me. Ill eventually go OSS for sure.

yeah, covering them up definitely looks cheap (as do eyebrows)... i was temporarily satisfied with my old halogens when i put 35% tint over them... made the headlight grey-ish and the orange a darker shade.
Eventually i upgraded to LCI halogens and blacked them out myself and put some LUX AE led lights in there and they're good to go... last step is to code them i guess.

So if you got new quarter panels (i'm assuming the front?), why not go for the M3 replica ones since you already opted for the m3 rep hood? they sell them on Umnitza's website

As for the lights, I have Xenons which makes my upgrade options limited to OSS I believe (maybe I'm wrong -- that's just what I gathered from my limited research). And yeah, I got new front fenders. I sort of considered getting the M3 rep fronts, or having them pull the back quarters a bit but ultimately decided against it. I do want to run wider wheels in the back but not wide enough to justify pulling the fenders (they are already rolled, so 19x10s with 275/30s should fit just fine). I like the hood so far but I may eventually decide to swap it out for a Vorsteiner. The bulge is a little bit larger than I thought it would be, and I don't want to look like a "fake M3" especially since I will likely be going with the M3 rep front bumper eventually.

Ah, i see... IMO, you're only going to look like a fake M3 if you put ///M badges on your car... but it's all your opinion i guess. M3 rep bumper is not too far off though...
I vote you should get the F10 M5 bumper molded onto your ride... ^__^ would also look sick.

I have 20x10.5 in rear (i forget the offset off the top of my head) and i still have a bit of fender room so i don't think the fender itself will be the issue, but more like what you will rub against on the suspension side.

Did insurance cover this, or were you out of pocket?

All insurance. Thanks, Allstate They were pretty easy to work with, and get my recommendation (although they do overcharge on premiums lol )

I bought my hood and trunk out of pocket and the shop reimbursed me for the value of the OEM parts listed on the estimate.

Thanks Hail is my worst nightmare. This was more like a meteor shower. Insane amounts of damage to the entire neighborhood. Our cars alone topped $30k in damage
