E92 and E93 trunk the same?

hey guys i was wondering if the E92 and E93 trunk is the same because i want to get the M3 spoiler but im not sure if they are the same fit..soo if anyone can help out with this problem that would b wonderful

no ... the oem spoiler ... non M3 version should work ... but the trunks are not the same

Pretty certain that the trunks are NOT the same. In shape there is a slight difference but the mechanics of the trunk attachments and latches are also different. I'm pretty sure the E93 has 2 door latches (R & L) and the E92 has one. I got that from a BMW wiring diagram when installing my alarm. Also the convertible probably has some extra attachments and mechanics (for top down) not built into the E92 (just guessing here).

As for shape I have seen someone try the trunk lid spoiler with a slight gap on it on a E93.

They are not even close to being the same - The E93 M spoiler you can get from jlevi, the E92 one will never fit without a hacksaw!

lol at this question. One trunk has an entire brake light in it and one doesn't. See the above posted link and purchase your E93 version spoiler.
