Here is a site have a look ... there are repair shops
Perhaps e-mail them (or a similar shop a photo) and ask them about guarantee and cost. Click there are some before and after photos The question is a matter of safety more then cost. You need to decide Good luck

OH NO SAY IT AIN'T SO!!! And after that long wait too! That sucks man sorry to hear. I would contact Matt or Carlos asap and replace it before they run out of stock.
I am a little surprise by this though esp since it looks like the tire is in good shape and how everyone has said how durable these wheels are. How fast and how big of a hole was it? |

There is a nice place but it's in Ponce, he is an old guy who repars rims and do evcellent paintless jobs I think it's going to be around 60 to 90 dollars but he is the best around people from around the island go through him for repairs and by the way he doesn't use any heat or anything that will cause it to be weacker

seriously i should start a blog or something, just take pics of the potholes here... but yeah, i think i'm gonna replace the wheel and try to get it repaired and keep it as a spare if it goes well. tomorrow i'm going to take off all the other wheels to make sure they're not bent. but yeah... i knew this would happen sooner or later with 19" in PR, they just look soooo good Quote:
thanks!

While it is possible to repair wheels, the German Assn of independent repair shops has recently gone on record in coordination with TUEV and DEKRA that bent wheels should not be repaired.
Their reasoning is that the strength in the repaired area will be different (either stronger or weaker but different) from the rest of the wheel. I don't know enough about the subject to lean one way or the other but I thought I'd toss it out. |
