First thread started, jsut wanted to share the news with my fellow e90post-ers.

My CA just emailed me to tell me that my car/order's been loaded up on the Vessel Don Juan (left Bremerhaven on 02/13).

Based on posts, I expected the usual 1-2 weeks wait at the port, but the car reached Bremerhaven on Friday 02/10...that mean's a wait of only 2-3 days tops...that's got to be on the record list, I think. That's 2 weeks from order finalization to loading onto shipping vessel.

So to recap:

Ordered: 01/27/06
Car finished production:02/09/06
Car reached port of exit: 02/10/06
Left Port / Car en route on vessel: 02/13/06
Expected docking: 02/27/06
Expected PCD: 03/30/06 (don't think I can wait )

Has anyone ever had accessories installed at the VPC? I know the PC is going to fax over an accessories request list that has to be finalized 2 weeks before delivery. This is the first time I heard of this. Can the OEM alarm be installed by the VPC? What other accessories are available? What about installation charges? Any experience...

It seems that the last date to accept cargo for the Don Juan was 02/10...that would ahve to mean the car went directly from train to boat...is that possible?

AAHHHH!!! I am jealous, we have the EXACT same timeline KL2DC aand i'm still at the port, i was hopin i would get on the don juan, DAMNIT!!! now i got to wait for the next ship, who knows when that'll be. Maybe if my stupid CA actually responded to my emails i would have more info!! wel congrats mann

Sorry don't mean to rub it in ... I know/expected how aggravating it is to wait uncertainly.

Trying to track the Don Juan (SGIX) on the sailwx.info site but the information is several months old (i.e. no plotting/tracking info). Same on the W W L site, can't seem to bring up my details yet (by VIN or bill of lading)...ahh heck maybe in a few days.

That's it?
The vin number I'm using is the number on the oc.bmwusa.com, under order detail.

Just checked this morning...you are right! The information is up...

For some weird reason, not getting the second box i.e. with the dates/port of calls... I'll check again later. Appreciate the updates...hope the Don Juan latches on to some favorable tailwinds...

Saw the car was loaded onto the vessel on 02/13 at 09:00 ... so the car was at the docks all of 3 days (arrived 02/10 morning)...that's not too bad. I guess slipping that keg of beer in the trunk of the car was a great idea

Call your CA...ask him for the full info off his DCS ... are you sure you put your entire VIN in? Double-check, if you are on the Don Juan, it should pull up..Good Luck

yeah, i'm sure. i checked, double checked, triple checked...etc, etc, etc.
in the oc.bmwusa.com page, i went to order tracking, and review order details. in here i have the production number (7 digits), the vin (WBAVB#####PS#####), current status(En Route) and all that.
