Who else is on the Hojin? (NYK)

I just checked, and the Hojin is at the very SW corner of the Dover Straits map. It's moving around 20mph through the straits.

Looks like I'm joining you guys too! My CA just confirmed it today...I just got out of the movies to see "The DaVinci Code"...I have to say the book was much better but the movie wasnt too bad. Got my mind off the car for a little while

Hojin is well on its way out of Southhampton, UK. You can see it on the "South West Approaches" map. Basically, in a few hours it'll be west of England and headed southwest.

Yup, looks like its in the channel islands area. Signed up for the free subscription but can't figure out how to cut and paste the maps on this forum!

You gotta save the picture to your computer, then upload it to imageshack.com

Then come to this thread
Go advanced
Click on the Image button
Paste a copy of the URL of the pic into the image box

And you're done.

I don't believe it's anywhere in the northern europe map. About 15 hours ago (11pm last night) it was steaming along with a WSW heading, maybe 20 miles SW of the southernmost tip of England. I assume that the next time we see it on that map, it'll be near the Panama Canal. I'll start looking at the canal maps next weekend.

Unfortunately, this vessel (callsign YJYN8) doesn't appear on sailwx.info...

Gotcha. I checked the maps as of late last night PST and couldn't find it. Just making sure it wasn't my eyes.

To make it into port by the 6th as my CA has listed, it'll have to enter the locks by the 29th or 30th of May at the latest. I'll start looking for it around then.
