July Production Thread

IDK about vin number b/c i'm kinda hesistant to call my CA. I've been bugging him SO much. I think i called him almost every business day since the day i ordered (jun 20th) either to change options, ask thing or two about fuel pumps, double check my order (i was short on time and left w/o any paperwork) and so forth. So i might call him tomorrow or later this week. Give him a break from me.

HOWEVER, the 1800 number tells me my car is in production and it's estimated to be completed on july 3rd. that's the automated msg. the rep couldn't access tracking system. so i'll try again later tonight before they close and update on what they say.

i hope the automated msg is not mistaken.:rocks:

I guess they are a few days ahead of schedule, I just got a message from my CA saying my car (E-92 328xi) started production yesterday too. It was supposed to be a July build for Aug delivery. The earlier the better, since I sold my M3 I've been driving my Porsche as a daily driver and it's not much fun in the downpours I keep gtting caught in.

i talked to a rep at the 1 800 number. i got my VIN from him and he said that my car is scheduled to finish production on July 2nd. woohoo. that's monday next week. If i keep getting this lucky, i might get on a boat late next week?? haha. unlikely, i know. but you never know. especially the way it's been going for me.

new here...

Ordered the new addition to the family June 20th, my CA traded an already allocated spot, adjusted the options, and it entered production today!!!! 335xi (yes, I go to the snow often), Monaco, gray leather, sport, premium, CA, cold weather, nav.

Now all I have to do is call the automated lady everyday, wait for the ship name, obsess a little, clean the garage out, obsess some more, and then take delivery

You ordered on the 20th and went into production TODAY??? When the heck is some of this luck going to come my way?

I called the number yesterday and spoke to a representative that said I would start production by July 4th. Called back today and the automated lady said I would be done with production by July 5th! Woohoo!

Automated lady said my car was completed 2 days earlier than scheduled. It's now awaiting transport on a Vessel. How do we know which Vessel we're on? Will she tell us? Can't wait til the "SuperBimmer" gets here. Montego-Red here we come.

For those of you that can't wait for their cars, try waiting 4 months, I ordered mine in the middle of March (16th I think) - that really tested my patience, oh so many night tearful nights... My dealer had some complications with orders and allocation problems and whatnot, you think I should talk him into lowering the price a bit?

Mine saids Scheduled for Production and i got my VIN# ... my order # is 371xxxx.

Hopefully i'll get it before end of August

Well my CA is no longer my CA, he left the dealership. My orginal CA said end of July latest (car is done with production July 4th:rocks

. My new CA said latest September

, I don't know who to believe but whatever. As long as they honor the deal my first CA gave me is what I care about at this point. My car is on it's way though.

What's the 800#?? - my CA denies that there is one and the BMW owners circle only states that my car is scheduled for production.

1-800-831-1117 - be careful it can be addicting

Usually the automated system is a little more up to date than the OC and the customer reps are the most(?) up to date and have always been very helpful and don't seem to mind if you call frequently

Maybe or maybe he just doesn't know about it, well I'd bet he knows the # its BWWNA but he might not know you can track your production status through it.

After I posted I called the #800 and this one lady with lovely voice told me that my car is in the body shop, then my CA called and told me it's production date is the 5th

go figure. Most likely, though, we will be on the same vessel. :rocks:

First Post.

Ordered the car on 6/27/7, with a production number 3711***. Got the VIN number from the CA today, and the 800# says production will be completed by 7/10/7. CA says to expect delivery in first week of August!!

On Order: 335i 6M with Sports Package, Black Sapphire, black leatherette with aluminium trim, Comfort Access, rear fold down seats.
