Vessel: INTEGRITY, Departing 04June2007

OK, so I called the 800 number, and the system told me that my car was in transit...

Is that the status that the car is in when it begins its journey on the ship, or does it specifically mean that it has left the VPC on a truck on its way to the dealership?

If it means that its on a truck to the dealership, how long does it normally take from the VPC to a dealership in the Washington DC area?

hardcoremarty - If your car arrived already then mine should be in too. I havent got a call from my CA yet, but last time I checked the status was in-transit. I hope it is in today maybe I can pick it up today, I have to find out.

Agreed, your car should be here too! Happy Day...let us know about the delivery experience and post those pix.

angina - we don't know the history of your status, so it's hard to say which "in transit" status your car is in. However, the best way to know is to contact your CA. You can also check the Owner's Club web site, but it's typically way behind on status (mine currently says at VPC, but as we know, it's at the dealer)

I just got word my car arrived. Should be ready tomorrow for delivery. I asked if it was possible tonight delivery, I said i would take it with the plastic on the seats still haha. FINALLY!

Ok, maybe it is because I did a european delivery, and since I already "picked it up" in germany, but I don't see the tracking page that is on the owner's club site... before I did the european delivery, I was able to check the status of my car, but I no longer have access (or can't find it) to it...

Is this because I have "unofficially" picked up my car by doing the ED? Or maybe I am looking in the wrong place?

After it makes it to the port...the 800 number will say in transit even if you have pick up your car from the dealership...I got my car delivered and the 800 number still says in transit as of yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all. I stopped by the dealer and my car was back from having the clear mask installed. This was taken with a Treo camera phone so please forgive the quality (it was also overcast).

I should take delivery on Saturday and I'll post more (better) pictures then.

Stopped by my Dealer in MO this morning and there she was, ran into the service manager and he told me he'd get it prepped so I can pick her up this evening, my Blacklines will arrive from fed ex around noon today, so i'll be busy tonight installing the blacklines and hard wiring my V1.

Anyone on here still waiting for their ED car off the Integrity? My car was on the Integrity vessel that landed in NY on 6/17, and it has been in customs or VPC since then. A lot of bimmerfesters who have ED cars on this ship are also awaiting word on their cars, so I was just wondering if there was anyone here still waiting and if you knew why the heck its taking so long!
