You don't really need INPA to figure this one out. Say you suspect that injector 1 is bad because you are getting misfires, but you are not sure:

1. You swap the coils and spark plugs between cyl 1 and cyl 4.
2. If the misfire moves with to cyl 4, then its the coil or the spark plug
3. If the misfire remains on cyl 1, then its the injector

Thanks for that....was curios as to what depth and type of detail inpa would give on the currant condition of the injectors or if there are any adjustable parameters other than coding...what is the name of the screen in inpa for this?

If a code was thrown, it would be as straight forward as you say. But what if the injector was not bad enough to cause codes to be thrown? Is it possible that performance can be impaired without a code being thrown?

Yes. Another option is to let the car sit over night and pull the plugs the next morning. Check each plug to see if it smell like fuel, which is an indication that the injector is leaking in that cylinder.

Will this work with Windows 8? I set everything up as per the pdf instructions and when I go to open INPA I get the api32.dll is missing error message. Everything in system properties is correct.

Nevermind, Im an idiot. I forgot to add a semicolon before the path variable. Thank you, vasillalov, for putting all of this together for us. I will be replacing all 6 injectors tomorrow.

The download links work fine. I run those servers and I've verified everything is fine.

So you can confirm that these are the latest part numbers, are new and not refurbished injectors?
If so that is a great price.

they are not refurbished and are 12 index injectors. I'm not sure if that is the absolute latest revision. This is the best price of in stock injectors I could find.

You have them in hand to confirm this yet?

If it's true this is good news, I have 5261 on my car and one or maybe two are bad. I want to avoid replacing all of them and if these are 5261's I will be ordering them this week.

The new 6079 version is supposed to be incompatible with older versions, meaning you have to change all 6 !$!$!$!$
