thanks for the info. I've been wondering if BMW would charge a monthly fee for the real time traffic service, it's awesome to find out they included it in the price of Navigation System

i wonder if there is a way to have that Real Time service added on to an already Nav equiped e90?? any ideas? kind alike an ad-on sirius sat tuner?

Since it's FM-based I would think/hope that it could be integrated via software but I'm not affiliated with BMW other than as a product owner.

At first I thought this as well... but then I heard the 07s include two FM tuners with one dedicated to traffic. Atleast, that was mentioned on another thread, so take it for whats it worth.

This is very cool, I would love to have this in my e90! No doubt they will charge us for the additional FM receiver and software update :-(

Very cool. This was the primary reason I ordered the Nav on my 335. I am happy to hear that it will not require an additional monthly charge. That is a pleasant surprise. But it remains to be seen whether the information will be accurate and timely enough to be useful.
