Hi Chaps

Maybe a silly question as we are still in 2007 but wonder when we can expect the 2008 pro NAV disc? I got the 07-02 disc in June when I took delivery.

When it does come, I wonder if we can expect the same sat nav firmware update option on the disc a la E46?

There's usually 2 DVD releases each year, so 2008-1 should be out in the next 2 months.

Newer software versions require a system restart. You do not have a choice with this, as it happens automatically.

The software doesn't update the iDrive mapping software, merely the navigation data available to it.

I've you intend getting 2008-1 when it comes out, you could modify it with your own Speedcam data & other stuff, if you're upto it!
