BT Tool Question..car on lift symbol

I reset the service with the bt tool today and I got a red brake light symbol and the car on lift symbol. Anyone know how to reset this?

Should be the Confdition based service. Look at them all in the BT tool, and specifically look at the brake fluid. Make sure it really reset. I had no problem doing mine last summer.

There was a problem with some versions of the BT tools software and the condition based service resets, make sure you update to the latest version.

normally the brake indicator light comes on when the brake pads are low, and there is a sensor touching the rotor.. requiring a service visit .. or you replacing the brake pads/rotors and sensor ..

if you chose to do the DIY route make sure you pick an accurate (dial/digital) brake micrometer and mic the rotors to make sure they are above minimum spec... (min thickness is stamped on the rotor itself..)

can you ck the brake pads wear via the BT tooll ?
