Will the 335i M Performance Diffuser & Exhaust fit the 328i M Sport?

Hi guys,

I'm curious know if anyone has tried the 335i rear diffuser on a 328i bumper and whether i can get the 335i axle back on a 328i?

1. Will the 335i M Sport Performance Diffuser fit the M Sport 328i?

2. Will the 335i M Sport Performance Axle Back Exhaust fit the M Sport 328i?

Not trying to make my car look like a 335i and claim it to race, I just prefer the dual exhaust on the 335i over the 328i, thus trying to see if i source the 335i M Sport rear diffuser and axle back, would that be enough to swap with what's on my current 328i M Sport e92 ?

Any ideas?

Diffuser is direct fit. Axle back will not fit but exhaust shop can make it work. I'm selling a diffuser if you need.

^pm me price I figured there'd be some sort of need for a muffler shop to make the axle back fit

Does anyone know if there's anything else that needs to be done to make this work besides swapping out the diffuser and putting in a dual axle back?

That's it. Just an axle back and an exhaust shop can modify to fit. The frame will have the spots the 335I has for hangers.

There's alot to do to make a 335 exhaust fit onto the 328.

1. Change 328 storage to 335 storage
2. 335 exhaust heat shields
3. Relocate EVAP canister
4. Get one extra exhaust hanger
5. Get 335i diffuser

I forget the rest but that's most of it.

Here's mine

I wanted to keep the storage compartment and didn't want to mess with the charcoal canister. By flipping the muffler upside down, the outlet is more centered resulting in more even flow.

+1 I did the same with my car! I don't regret it! just make sure you get the right size muffler since the first try I got a Borla muffler that was too big so I went for the Magnaflow #11148 with a Magnaflow Y-pipe 10758 and a resonator delete! If you want to do all the work for the 335i dual conversion, be my guest, you won't see much difference and it would cost 3x maybe 4x more.
