If your car is equipped with a TPMS system, I guess you could run it without the sensors. However, your car would never stop telling you the TPMS system wasn't working properly, which I think would be extremely annoying, so I'd buy the damn things.

What year and model is your car? I assume you aren't doing them for your E46 which do not require the Sensors, the E46 TPMS is a speed sensor built onto the hub.

Are you selling your stock wheels with the TMPS? If so, I would recommend getting new sensors. Most vendors in this forum will get you a deal for the sensors as part of their wheel/tire combo so you won't have to deal with sensor installation, wheel balancing, etc. Plus if you are getting non-RFTs IMO sensors are a must...you don't want to messup the wheels by unknowlingly running the car with low tire.

I would recommend purchasing them since its easily accessible for you. The TMPS will directly bolt onto the V710's.

+1 I recommend having another set so you can sell the stock wheels as a direct replacement for someone else with an E9X.
