a BMW is a BMW, that is nothing to be ashamed of. If anything it's about getting a bunch of car enthusiasts together for a drive with great machines, meeting new people, networking, and see other people's great cars!

That's what its about. Over the years, when my car wasn't feeling obviously 'showy', I didn't park next to the shiniest cars.

That would apply to checking out car shows during my Toyota 4Runner SR5 days.
