E91 with 230s or 225s

With apologies for my photoshopping, er, skills.

I must admit I thought it would look better than this with 230s, but might just be down to my poor cut and paste. If anyone can do better, I'd be interested. What do you think?

If I did get these, do you think I could leave them on if I traded into a dealer, or would they insist on some form of Msport wheel (hence I should hang onto my MV3s)?

I'm inclined to think the 225 below would be a better bet, as they look great, and I reckon I could sell it to a dealer with these on without any problem at all - or would they still cause problems?

you cant go wrong with the 230s, i would of had these if i wanted a OEM wheel. Granted yes they suit the coupe, but look excellent on the estate too.

not bad photo shopping either , a dam sight better than i could do

Both very nice rims, but I would go for the 225's on the E91

The 230s would be easier to keep clean; I'm beginning to wonder if I should have gone for them.

Thanks for the replies. At the end of the day both would look good. I'm erring toward 225s as safe looking, and no prob trade-in option, but then again the 230s would be different....

2GPP - I found that pic a while back - its the only "real" pic of 230s on an E91 Msport I've seen, and they do look good don't they.

Any thoughts on whether a dealer would take an E91 MSport trade-in on OEM 230s? In theory they shouldn't mind as its OEM, but its not an M wheel, so they may make a fuss....

I really need to see a real pic of a E91 with these rims on properly - I don't think my photoshop is really capturing how good it would look. I don't have pics of my car, but its a standard E91 330d MSport in Silver - plenty of pics on the internet to have a bash at.

Thanks 6 degrees (posts crossed over)

Actually, thats a very good photoshop and probably shows exactly what it would look like, and I have to say it looks a tad more aftermarket than OEM than I would like.

Looks like 225s are the way to go after all.

Thanks again.
