FS: KW V1 coilovers with extras

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Up for sale is a set of KW V1 coilovers with about 30k miles on them.

Selling because the driverside front strut developed a leak after hitting a pothole and will require a rebuild. Since its my daily, I couldn't be without my car so I just got a replacement set. KW quoted me $150 for the rebuild.

Everything in the pictures is included - 4 springs, 4 struts, 2 OEM front strut mounts (in perfect shape), rear bump stops/dust covers, rear upper strut mounts (top and bottom), bolts for front swaybar end links. All take-off parts have about 30k miles.

Also the KW tool kit with is basically the spanner wrench and a fancy tiny hex for the locking pin on the front coils.

Pictures include the actual set directly after taking off my car. also, pics when it was installed, and pics at the ride height i chose. Probably could go up or down an inch from here.

Price is $625 plus shipping and paypal. Everything is boxed up and ready to go. Locals get priority. thanks!

Why don't you pay $150, rebuild the front pair and sell the kit as zero miles on the front for $800? I assume $150 covers a pair, not just one, right?

I'd be interested in something like that for $800 vs. risking getting stuck with more problems all while a brand new kit can be bought for approximately $1200.

Thanks for the interest! They want $150 to rebuild the single leaking front strut. As that is the only problem, the buyer would be getting a set with about 30k miles and one front with zero miles. At my price, you would be getting a low miles set for a low price, then sending the front strut in.

I talked to KW and they said most do not replace the fronts in pairs as they last a while (my failure was due to the hitting a nasty pothole).
