ECS Tuning - E92 Carbon Rep lip
Purchased this awhile ago, waiting to see if there would be another response email but i guess it is my fault for not reading the "Return Policy"
Basically received the item, looked good upon unwrapping the bubble wrap and slid of foam. Test fitted on my car and noticed that the drivers side portion of the lip (carbon fiber part) has a crack in it. Sent an email to ECS Tuning and received back.... "With the part being installed there is no warranty on it. Also per our terms of use we do not return bumpers especially once removed from original packaging."..... 'ECS Tuning does not accept returns on the following items: Non-Stocking Items (i.e. products that are not regularly stocked.) Special Order Parts, commonly referred to as No Cancel / No Return products Electronic items (i.e. Any products that are controlled by or contains electronic components) VIN coded products (i.e. items ordered specifically for your VIN) Body / Exterior Automotive Panels (i.e. Bumper, Fender, Valance, etc.) Clearance / On Sale Items Limited Quantity Sale Items Scratch and Dent Items" So basically telling me that I have to know the item is damaged before removing the bubble wrap etc but there is no chance for a return or at least an exchange for a corrected one since they do not accept refunds for body parts. Big risk I see it as. Here are the pics. Previously I only heard good things about them, even ordered my fog light bulbs from them. They have extremely fast shipping. After seeing this though, been ordering elsewhere. |

Nope, I made sure to check everything on the web page since $270 seemed a little low for a painted lip w/ CF. Nothing stated Scratch and Dent.
