Need special tools for Fuel Injectors from FCP Euro?

First, why in the heck is their kit $845 vs $1471 at ECS Tuning? Am I missing something?

FCP says it comes with new seals, but are they already installed? I called and the guy didn't seem sure of himself...

Fuel injector pricing varies a lot. Rock auto used to have them for $115/ea a few years back but demand was so high they raised their price. Since they're new they will come with seals pre-installed

I got mine under $800 from my local dealership when they price matched versus various online competitors. Picked them up that day. Call yours and ask, they can only say no. If the injectors are new and the caps are still on the injectors, then the seals are already on underneath the caps. Just be sure to pop the caps off and quickly install the injectors before the seals expand.

The part numbers are also different between different cars, and I think the ECS Tuning ones that are expensive are the old part number, while the FCPEuro ones are the latest number.

I haven't done it yet, but supposedly FCPEuro will price match as well. OEMBimmerparts has the injectors for $110 but their shipping for 6 is kinda high. You can price match to them (with the higher shipping) and it's still cheaper than FCPs normal price - plus you get their lifetime warranty - best deal anywhere.

ECS has been shipping the index 12 injectors for a long time.
