Performance exhaust installation

I am getting the BMW performance exhaust installed this Saturday and was wondering if the old exhaust would fit in my car. I have an E90 w/o the fold down seats, there is that hole in the seat though. From pictures it seems like the old exhaust is one long piece back to the cats. This queation is for anyone who has the PE, how did you bring the OEM one back? Just trying to figure out if I will need to bring another car since the dealership is two hours away.

Update:

Here is the a link to a video comparing cold starts.

Wow is all I have to say...

Same, cut into 2 pieces and fit in the trunk easily. It sounds better each time I drive, like louder. I guess there is a break-in period.

Thanks benzo23, how do you like the exhaust? Do you think it was worth the 1g cost?

Best thing I could of ever done to the car, its night and day vs. stock. Worth every cent and then some. You'll know what I mean when you get on it in a tunnel or next to a cement wall.

Best thing I purchased for my car. Mine was in one piece and had a friend drive my truck to pick it up. Was afraid it might rub or tear my seats while driving home. Your going to love it, sounds great!

Also keep in mind its easier to store if its in 2 piece too, just have them cut it before the rear section and youll be good to go cause they already have to cut it behind the 2nd cats

I'm wondering how you all fit your stock exhaust in your trunks then I realized the PE is just an axle back. I recently installed a cat-back and lemme just say that thing is about 80% the length of the car I left the stock exhaust at my friend's shop and will have to figure out how I'm going to get it back home.

How are you getting the BMW PE for $1,000? Not saying you can't, but I am just curious.

Thanks.

Wow. Well they are selling the 335i PE for $1300 uninstalled so a little bit more, but my dealership in Houston has it for $2000 uninstalled! So that's a pretty good deal.

PE isn't just an axleback for NA E92/90 cars - it comes in (2) pieces, a midpipe section that runs from your secondary cats back to the muffler (without resonator), and the muffler
