Specific piece on bumper missing (see pics). Help sourcing replacement please!
After a very awesome, long and dark drive through the country for 2 hours, a racoon decides to unfortunately end his life by running in front of my driver's side bumper at the very last second. It hit the corner of my bumper, and he literally got body checked, rocked/bounced right off the bumper.
Anyhow, it wasn't far enough to be ran over my wheel/under my vehicle. However, the damage from the ricochet hit knocked my foglight to sit inside the bumper skin cover, which I had easily fixed upon my return to civilization. What I realized later in the light, is I am missing the silver trim piece now . Not practical to get a new bumper assembly just for that silver trim piece. I wouldn't know what it's called or how to source it. Please excuse the dirt...it was still shortly after the country drive. You can even see some of the hair still on the bumper from the little guy, RIP...and the duct tape as my way to make sure the foglight doesn't completely fall out while I drove back to GTA. Check the pics for the OK passenger side, compared to the missing piece on the driver's side. Please assist, oh great community! |

Since I converted my 2011 LCI front bumper to MTECH, I still have the bumper sitting around with both left and right fins. I could possibly help you save some money for that fin which is missing. Unless you are looking to upgrade to the LED lights which replace the fin area. Let me know if you are interested

It's a finisher rod.
Part# L: 51117134091 Part# R: 51117134092 $6.00 part. Dealer markup probably around $20. Cheers. |

Sorry for the delayed reply.
Managed to pick it out from the dealer, and yes, its an amazing cheap $14 per side! I had thought there's no way they would have that small part without going for a fuller assembly of some sort. Makaveli, thank you very much for that offer. If I saw it earlier, I'd probably bug you on it. Much appreciated everyone! |
