FYI ... I found out he seats are basically RECARO Sporter CS with BMW upholstery ...

If you are like to track your car frequently even the OEM sport seats leave something to be desired IMO. I have a feeling that most people who buy these seats will never even take the car to an HDPE though.

BTW, those seats are really nice, but the price is crazy.

How much do a set of leather sports seats cost new? Minus that price from this and that should be your cost to upgrade when buying the car new.
