FYI ... I found out he seats are basically RECARO Sporter CS with BMW upholstery ...

There is even a press release on these by RECARO which can be found here:

If you are like to track your car frequently even the OEM sport seats leave something to be desired IMO. I have a feeling that most people who buy these seats will never even take the car to an HDPE though.

BTW, those seats are really nice, but the price is crazy.
