Stickies...
I don't know about you guys but I am getting sick and tired of seeing the same questions and mistakes repeated over and over and over again when ALL the questions and ALL the answers are already in this forum. There have been many excellent informative threads created over the years, and they probably contain 99+ percent of information the newbs come here to find, but those threads with all the answers are just getting buried under countless new ones asking the same questions over and over again. It's a vicious cycle....
I have asked the mods to sticky some threads over the years, and I know others have too. Unfortunately, nothing has happened. Where are the mods by the way, they are never on this sub-forum... I don't want to sound too radical but can we pressure the mods to post some stickies? Perhaps if we came up with a list of threads and then we all together send a PM or whatever to the mods requesting these threads to be glued up top? Any other ideas? Let's do this!

I'm Ok with that
I think a sticky with a list of links would be great .
It could be ordered into list such as basic info, theory , examples of links with the best systems threads etc, subsection such as install procedures, subs, aftermarket head units. I kind of figured out unless you have a giant thread with lots of hits they won't look at it for stickys. So when a question gets asked over and over it doesn't get a lot of hits or responses its not considered for stickys . Last edited by ctuna; 01-22-2012 at 01:28 PM.. |
