Exclamation Problems after changing new spark plugs! Help!

Okey this is turning very strange.. atleast for me.
Quick brief what happened.

Got the new (OEM) spark plugs changed by my mechanic after changing the plugs they were getting misfire at cylinder no 3.
Coils, all the wires, plugs and everything is checked but misfire wont go away. They tried with old plugs and that didn't change a thing.
Misfire is always at cylinder no 3 even if the coil is changed from a different cylinder.

They also updated the software but it didn't help.

Now everyone in here is like "WTF? o.O"

What you say?

I would still bet on the wires to the coil #3.

By the way, with which sparkplug did the installer begin changing the sparkplugs ? Maybe he begun with the #3 which is right in the center, and didn't know how to remove the coil socket and damaged the socket.

Seems like an injector to me. If you claim all the wires are good then that's basically the only thing it could be. You need 3 things to make a fire, spark, fuel, and O2. You know you are getting air and you eliminated the spark aspect by going back to the old plug, so the only thing left is fuel. That's my .02

Mine ran rough after new plugs. I think the car has a hard time going from the large gap on the old plugs to the smaller gap on the new plugs. If you compared you would see that the electrode gets shorter, making a wider gap.

I used Mr.5's post on resetting certain adaptions with the BT tool and the car ran like new after that.

I wonder if the OP checked the gaps on the plugs before installing them? I changed my plugs this weekend and two of them got damaged during shipping. One of the prongs (on two of the plugs) was bent all the way to the electrode. I checked the gap on all the spark plugs and almost all of them needed some minor adjustment.

This post shows pretty much how my plugs looked...
