questions on suspension

I just recently bought a 09 BMW sedan 328i.I am looking to put a nice suspension on it, I want to drop it about 1-3 inches. I am going to be putting 19s on it so i am wondering if 3 inches can be achieved without rubbing?

Three ... inches!? Realize you will have an inhospitable ride if you go that far down (if it's even possible on our cars without serious modification). I don't recall someone here going that low (maybe on an XI, but those are noticeably higher than regular Is to begin with). 2.5", maybe, but not 3.

You could drop it 1.5-2 inches, perhaps, using a coilover kit like KW V1. Depends on the wheels but you could run into rubbing issues. I suggest doing more research in this area ... lowering in general and then what size wheels (offsets specifically) and tires you can use at a given ride height. Also read up on the ramifications of going as low as you're talking. I think three inches is insane (no offense).
