245s front with 19inch et 38 and H&Rs (no definitive answer yet)

I've done lots of searching, but there seems to be no definitive answer on whether or not 19" 245s (with an et38) in front will rub on an e90 with an H&R sports drop. Any insight or personal testimonies would be nice. I've got to order some tires and I'd like to run 245s in front if they dont rub.

i am on 235/35/19 tires in the front on a 8.5 et 35 wheel and lowered on h&r sports, and no rub for me, and i have kumho spt tires, which are wider than the equivalent sizes of other tire brands, so i think 245 on et38 shouldnt rub...

Thanks for the confirmation guys. I have been debating 235 vs 245 for the last couple of days. I've been able to find similar post, but almost all of them were directed towards cars with the sports package and not running H&Rs.

There is actually a silver E90 with Italian M5 reps that is running 19x9 +38 fronts with 245/35/19 and like a 3mm spacer or something like that... if you search "italian M5 replica" you should be able to find his thread...

Those running the 245 up front, what size are you running in the rear? Thanks.

maybe in the world you perceive in your mind, wheel widths are an industry standard, but we really do need the width of the wheels to tell you that. like 255 on an 8" width is a hell no. but id u run widebody and fit a 9 or 9.5 width, then sounds good.

usually 275 on 19" and 285 on 20"

assuming front is 8 or 8.5 width and rear is 10" width

Errr, right. We are talking about a 19x8.5" wheel on a stock car, something between a 35mm and 40mm offset. Has anyone tried a 255/35/19 on that up front. I'm getting an xi, and want 4 tires/wheels the same. I think is is silly to do a staggered setup on a awd performance car. 255/35/19 on a 8.5" wheel is what the audi rs4 uses on all four corners.
