It's time to play another round of "what's that leak?"
So that dreaded little leak is back again, in the same place as it usually is.
This time, once again as before, I blotted up with a paper towel, taking a picture of it with the flash on. It renders a greenish hue- yet no dash lights or warnings. On smell like coolant or oil, so I have no idea what the hell it is...I'm freaking clueless. It's damn near the weirdest shit I've seen. Yes I know I scrape my bottom bumper too much- I'm working on that |

If you dip your finger in it, is it slippery and does it stay slippery? Coolant will usually be slippery, but disperse quickly. Oil obviously stays slippery. Brake fluid (usually light tan like the picture) will feel kind of grippy and not slippery once you move your fingers a couple of times. 6AT or 6MT?

Greenish would be coolant. Bring it by me if your in the area and i'll take a look. I'll likely just smell it myself and or look around the hood for the obvious

If it is a phantom leak then they sell UV dye kits you can mix with whichever fluid and it will light up like a night club under a black light where ever the leak is. |

It is probably coolant if it is intermittent. Usually that will happen when the car is really hot all the coolant gets turned in to steam, but when the car isn't really hot then it will drip on the driveway.

Isn't OE coolant blue? PS fluid is reddish I think. Clean oil almost looks like that on a paper towel, but if it's not staining doesn't sound like oil.

If it is clear/light brown then I think it is brake fluid.
