Finally a Brembo BBK for the XI !!

Hey E90post I've been speaking with Alan************.com in regards to a Brembo BBK for the xi vehicles and there's something currently in the works.
However, in order for Brembo to take up such a project, there definitely needs to be interest for this kit as there are certain costs associated.
We're trying to find out how many xi owners out there are serious about picking up a Brembo BBK for their Xis?

Possibly. Checking into various pads right now to limit fade at track, if I still get it, then very likely.

Carbon Cools fit the bill quite nicely!!! I'm on my second set.

Already have a set on my xi, front and rear!

E92 335xi can just get the 335i kit, and it should fit. Someone in the forum has already done it.

My mistake!!!! The person who had an E92 335xi has a Rotara setup, not Brembo.

However, I don't see why the Brembo kit for the 335i would not fit a 335xi, based on the Rotara fitment...

Brembo offered to have a test-fitting done at their shop way back, but no one took up the offer, and of course, no one know if they would give that person a deal, or work something out with them.

Proper fitment from Brembo + warrenty > i fitment on xi

Not a direct bolt on however, and not warrentied by Brembo.

I'm finally jumping into this thread and I just wanted to let everyone know that I've been working with both Brembo, and StopTech to get this kit released for all you xi owners (I have love for you guys

). StopTech has been the one to step up to the plate to develop a direct BBK for all you XI owners. The kit will be available with the following setup:

StopTech BBK
Front: ST-60 355x32
Rear: ST-40 345x28

Caliper Colors:
Red / Black / Silver / Blue / Gold / Yellow /

Rotors
Slotted / Drilled / Plain

Slotted with Zinc Coating / Drilled with Zinc Coating

I don't know anything about the mechanical parts of brakes, but why does the xi have a different brake setup than the i? Just curious...

I'm getting 18" Apex 8.5" / 9.5 " wheels plus Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec tires next week. I hear the StopTech 380mm will fit this set up, but not Brembo. In general, any reason to go with Bremo over StopTech?

Stock wear pads sensors installed.
There is not any errors on dash.
The brakes work great.
DTC work is same as on stock brakes.
