Snowboarding this weekend... Mountain recommendations?
I'm going snowboarding this weekend with my girl and some friends in the Poconos this weekend. There are a few mountains near us (Camelback, Bushkill, Shawnee). I was wondering if any experienced boarders/skiers would recommend the best mountain around that region. All of us are beginners and intermediate at best, so some advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Huntermountain is the best around the area, if not Camelback is pretty good. I would recommend those who never ski/snowboard before to take a lesson. That would help out alot.
let me know if u have any more ski/snowboard questions

Where's the best place to take lessons? I've been snowboarding a couple of times, but I still can't get the hang of it.

I like Stratton. Going there in a few weeks. Won the free lift ticket.

vermont is the best if you can make it up there, if not Hunter....but listen just as an FYI this is probably the worst weekend to go since it will be PACKED. also if you plan on learning or taking lessons, best bet is to call whichever mt you chose and make an appt.
