20" Essens Are On!

They are on and glorious! Aesthetically these wheels are exactly what I want, I love the size, color, everything! But I have already had some rubbing issues in the rear when taking a corner "spiritedly", and I don't even have my H&R Springs on yet. So now I am debating on weather or not to try to sell the wheels and tires, and go for some smaller ones (BBS RS-GT?). I think I will drive on them until the weekend and see how I feel. I would def. have to take a pretty big loss on them, but if it means getting exactly what I want then I guess it is worth it.

Adam, what brand tire are you running?

The gap is barely anything! The car looks great by the way

Thanks man! I absolutely love the look of them! I went with Falken FK452 285/25/20 and 245/30/20 as that is what Boost_Nation is running with the same setup.

wheels look amazing. makes me want to put on my 20" essens. Just roll your fenders a little, and there will be no more rubbing.

Please Post more pics!!!!!

Haha ok man let me know when and where and I am in! I am trying to make the wheels work, but Wheel Werks is trying to convince me to sell them and get some BBS. I love these wheels but they told me they were not perfectly round (common with iForged, and HRE) and is causing me to get some vibration above 40 mph, so I am not quite sure what to do at this point!

Hopefully you will get the vibration figured out, maybe some road force balancing will help? I think drive on them for a little while, will help the tires even out.
Ill talk to my friend Ruff Rider, see if he wants to do the shoot as well. Maybe a day out and some lunch tomorrow?

Adam, did you get your wheels road forced? This will stop any vibration issues you may be having. Its just a simple procedure they do when mounting and balancing your wheels I recommend it for almost everyone just incase you feel any slight vibration

It will clear your problem 100%

I agree with Dan Adam. Road forcing usually gets rid of vibration problems.
