Force Variation Balancing

Anyone use this type of balancing before? Is it equivalent to roadforce balancing or perhaps better/worse? Thanks for any input.

road force makes as if there actually was a road and it notices any "bumps" or imperfections in the tire that wouldnt be noticed by regular balancing

Actually the road force balancing done using the Hunter GSP system balances the wheel with respect to the tires position on the rim. Marks are put on the tire and the rim and then put on the machine. The machine determines where the tire needs to be repositioned with respect to the rim to allow the best balance of tire and wheel together. It also shows where and how much balancing weights are needed.

If I understand correctly, the Hunter 9700 is the only machine that will do road force balancing? If so, I need to call around and find one of these beauties. Thanks.

If you're looking for a RFB, check out this site. Clink the location tab on the upper right, then insert your zip. You should find one with no problems.
