For sale: E91 335d M Sport Touring, nav, USB, pano roof, low miles, 2007/57
For sale: my very highly spec’d 335d M Sport Touring, in Sapphire Black with black Dakota leather interior. December 2007 (57) registration, with one private owner (me!) since April 2008. It started life as the dealer demo for Elms in Cambridge for its first 5 months and 5k miles, so has an extensive and pretty unique list of options:
* Professional DVD navigation and i-Drive * USB audio interface for iPod (very rare on pre-LCI cars) * Digital radio (DAB) * Bluetooth telephone integration * Voice control * Harmon Kardon Logic 7 audio (14 speakers) * Adaptive xenon headlights with high beam assistant * Rain sensing wipers * Panoramic sunroof * Heated front seats * Electric seats with driver memory * Electrically folding and auto-dimming mirrors * Parking Distance Control (PDC) front and rear * Sun protection glass * 18” M Sport alloy wheels, finished in M Sport+ Ferric Grey colour * Luggage net, original BMW carpet mats, etc * Sapphire Black metallic, with black Dakota leather and aluminium hexagon interior. Like all 335 diesels, it is a 6 speed automatic, with sport mode and steering wheel paddles. The car has covered approximately 53,500 miles, and has a full BMW main-dealer service history. Last serviced in October 2013 by Sytner in Maidenhead, so not due again until September 2015 or 16,000 miles. MOT until December 2014, taxed until June 2014. Supplied with non-runflat Continental Sport Contact 5 tyres with at least 5mm of tread, which have only been used during the summer months; it’s currently wearing Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme winters which are also included in the sale. The BMW update to prevent pairing of new keys from the OBDC port has been carried out, and it’s just getting a new set of rear pads this week. The condition of the car is excellent, no outstanding mechanical issues or major blemishes inside or out, other than a few stone chips. It has been covered by the full BMW Insured Warranty since the factory warranty expired, which can be transferred to the new owner provided that it is taken up within 10 days of the sale. Note that test drives can only be offered with proof of fully comprehensive insurance, but I'm very happy to demonstrate the car on a range of roads. Plenty more photos can be supplied on request! The car is located in Windsor, Berkshire. Price: SOLD! Last edited by pete_d; 03-02-2014 at 01:34 PM.. |

Bump - I'm putting the car on Autotrader later today, so if you're interested in a fantastic 335d Touring, this is your last chance to sort out an early viewing before it's available to the masses.
I've had a few enquiries about part-ex deals, however I already have a replacement car lined up, so need a straight cash sale. Sorry about that. Pete |

It was interesting that I had a handful of enquiries from here and from Pistonheads, but the phone rang off the hook once the ad was live on Autotrader. I ended up taking a deposit on the first day it went on, and that chap came and bought it for cash without any quibbles yesterday. Either I advertised it too low (but I don't believe that - it was 25% more than WBAC were offering, and almost 50% more than the ludicrous trade-in price) or it just demonstrates how much they're still in demand. Not too many chancers either. The worst was a chap from Sytner, who originally made an offer well under the asking price, then came back with an *even lower* offer once I'd said that wasn't going to fly. He clearly wasn't listening at negotiating school Anyway, good luck to those still searching - the right cars are out there but you'll have to move quickly it seems! Cheers, Pete |

In terms of what these cars represent, VFM, spec, relative economy vs performance available, etc I'd say yes, very much in demand these days. I looked on and off for 6 months to find the right one and when I did, the dealer who had taken the car in that morning took about 1/2 dozen calls in the hour or so that I was looking around the car and doing the deal !
