my sis is gonna get a new car, and i will be driving it also. my sis dont kno much abt cars. so i was thinking to get 2010 g37xs or 2011 a4 . frds of mine hv g37xs and a4, and i hv ride in it and drive them be4. i like g37's handle better as the steering feeling is better and the vq engine is really nice. it's more like a drivers car, and infiniti offers a better deal as they hv promotion now. but the g37 might hv replacement at 2013, as the rumor states.yet the a4 is more stylish, and the 2011 gets the 8spd auto tranny which is nice on gas i guess. and a4 wont hv replacement that soon.
but a4 is more expensive, and i think it's a lil bit overprice. so what do u guys think from the bimmers point of view? i need some advice .

Look wise Id take A4 over G coupe any day, Never drove neither.

but i was looking the g sedan not the coupe. they are both nice car. so it's hard to decide. so i need some input from u guys,

Does your sister care that much about how the car drives? If not, go with the A4.

i've driven both. the a4 (2.0t) is a great looking car with probably the best interior in it's class. however, the four is a bit pokey compared to the larger 3.7L V6 in the infiniti. you would think that the a4 would be cheaper, but it isn't. it's so popular that dealers are barely giving any discounts. the g37 is good but quirky. the auto transmission is where i believe the biggest weakness is.

given you want a commuter car, and not picking performance, i'd recommend the a4 too.
