rather have them get it right than screw it up...dinan said they are coming out with a whole slew of things for this car so it should be very interesting!!! even ecu mods aside...lsd ,suspension(bilstein finally a koni), intake exhaust probably all in different degrees(stage 1,2,3) and whole bunch of other goodies...i just hope they get this one right!!! and i am treating the car just like bimmer says like an m car....i have floored it once today for a sec and gone past 4000 rpm on acc once or twice but other than that....this car is getting a proper break in and i am definitely changing the oil on Thursday and going to ask my SA if the m oil will be ok as bimmer mag says if not...i will go with the lighter oil and just change it every 7500...but yeah Thursday is the 1200!!!! i wouldn't wanna mess this one up mainly because it acts more like an m car than the 330... and being an FI engine i am not gonna mess around!!!

and the current 328 is a 6 flat 0-60 car i thought it is a lil faster than the 330...thouht it has like 20 more hp than the 330 no?
My bet... Dinan won't have shit for the 335i before Nov, and when they finall do, it will be the weakest hp:$ gain on the market. Is Dinan even slightly relevant anymore, or do people just keep citing them out of nostalgia at this point?

The 330 has 255hp, i think the 328 has 225, but i could be wrong.

<not impressed.

Dryer duct for the cold air intake, $500 for a set of lowering springs, exhaust that looks like ass with shiny tips.

Are they even trying anymore? What took so long for this to be developed? I could maybe see the injection molded parts for the intake but, it should take no time to develop an exhaust for a company that only does BMW products.

if you know dinan, then you'd realize their exhausts have never looked good.

historically, they spend a ton of time on r&d. as said, the 328i stuff came out first because it's very similar to the stuff already available for the 325i and 330i.

i'm not a dinan fanboy, nor have i ever owned any of their products, but they must be doing something right being in business for 25+ years.

that said, i haven't been too impressed with their e9x line up either.

I know that and know what Dinan is all about. I was just pointing out the continuing trend.

Just because a business has been around for a long period of time is not necessarily an indication of them doing something right. Look at Ford and GM. Do it wrong long enough and it puts a business in bad shape.

The only reason dinan is in business still is because of its gay ass political relationship with BMW-and the fact getting their parts does not do a thing to you warranty and poeple like safety like that.

I think they are the bottom of the barrel upgrades you can get your hands on-

That being said, I too, am disappointed.
Dinan is the most overrated tuner in the market...you have to spend thousands of dollars before you see any noticeable differences...case in point...I will end up spending just as much for a Bilstein PSS9 coilover kit, camber plates and turbo tuner for my 335i as I did for a cold air intake, two sway bars, reflash s/w (that always set off engine sensors default codes) and a hp throttle body for my 330i...which only increased hp by 15 units.
