How about 2500 LBS chassis.

Sold the Idrive out of it, will keep it strictly for drag racing. Stripping the interior now, all I will have is the dash and one seat, the rest is going out.
Also removing electronics that are not required to properly run the engine.

Just seen this myself. I can't wait for more updates!! Great work too!! I thought my buddies 94's RX7 with a 2JZ was a fun swap, till I seen this. Great work once again. I have to say you made it look like the N55 was made to be under the hood of your E36.

I would like to see an update on this "SWAP". Even though i don't get why you would spend all that time and money doing such a Frankenstein mod, LOL. Just kidding, its just because of the steering wheel that I'm calling it a Frankenstein mod!! Anyways, I really don't get it.......

How can you not get it? Lightweight chassis and big power = fast!

Cool, that's solid effort and I bet it is fast. Let us know when you resolve the dash/door panel fit issues, cluster problems, etc.

It shows great potential but ultimately seems like a half baked swap.

The guy is from puerto rico, maybe he cares more about having a new looking car than actually going fast?
I don't get why anyone wouldn't get this swap.

I really want to do this in an e30. If you don't mind, what electronics did you need to keep and what could you ditch? What about the wheel speed sensors for TCS etc?
