Picked up my new car...
After 6 weeks without a car, I finally found time to sort out a new one and here's the spec:
E92 M3 Coupe V8 4.0 Silverstone II metallic paint Black Novillo Leather 19" M Double-spoke alloys Carbon interior leather trim Electronic Damper Control (EDC) Bluetooth phone prep and telematics BMW Connected Drive-Assist Voice Control DAB Digital Radio LOGIC7 Professional Hi-Fi System USB interface CD Changer Park Distance Control front and rear (PDC) Exterior trim high-gloss shadowline Electric folding exterior mirrors Adaptive headlights Front seat heating Front sliding armrest Extended storage Velour floor mats To describe her in one word... AWESOME!!! In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, the car is "poised, balanced and precise... what a car... what a masterpiece!!" Matt (mjh93sa) joined me at the dealer when I collected the car yesterday and we put the M through its paces in the Cotswolds. Superb driving roads and it ended up being the first "unofficial" South West meet!! All pictures are thanks to Matt. I did take some on my own camera and some videos of the exhaust/sound but I somehow lost my camera during all the excitement!! It will take a while for it to sink in, so I'll review the car at a later date but if you have any initial questions feel free to ask. Enjoy the pictures. Matt you are a star!! I will start off with some teasers. Check back soon for more!! |

We did have a bit of fun, though I think the local flies were decimated in the process. As ever it was great to meet up with you Paul, and what an excuse for it.
I have to say that the car is absolutely awesome. Just the right spec and colour combo I think, and loooked better on your wheels than the other one they'd just got in. The sound has to be heard to be believed, though it does tend to go a bit quiet on gravel.

It was good talking to both you & Matt, Paul.
Congratulations on the new vehicle! BTW- did the sound of the engine scare you enough to make you p*ss yourself in the woods?! Viv |

I nearly p*ssed myself when he was trying to get out of the gravel, but that's a different story (that I have video of).

Hi mate, I ordered some GP Thunders from you a week ago on ebay. I paid in full via paypal and have emailed you about delivery timing but heard nothing. I was hoping to have installed them when I picked up the car. Please PM me with details. If I get some service, I will order more stuff but one product at a time. Cheers!

Just been out for a spin! First time I've driven it at night. I love the white/blue dials instead of the orange ones on my E90. The adaptive headlights are pretty cool too!
Some more pics.... MORE TO COME, plus vids so check back later.... |
