I might go as it is 5m from my house. I was planning to be wrenching in the garage but I might drop by.

Just wanted to post this if any of you wanted to check out some interesting cars and/or visit Kaizen.

Did you have the E92?

I came down with a friend in his GT-R. My F30 is on the boat, arrives in NJ on Thursday - I'll probably bring to a Kaizen Coffee event at some point this summer.

BTW for the others by turnout I meant in general, BMWs are rare at kaizen events since they focus on GT-R's, Scoobys and Evos. Other marks always show up - GTI's, Audi's, Ferrari's BMW's, Focus ST's etc but its usually an Evo-fest lol

Yup the 92 was mine.

I have a feeling they don't like working on BMWs when I was quoted $600 to install downpipes. If it takes 4 hours in jackstands it should take 1 hour on a lift. But they appear to be doing good for themselves. Shop was full and that 2015 STI on the lift with two full pallets of HKS boxes looked neat.

Apparently the STI and HKS stuff is actually waiting for some folks from Japan - hence the DevCar license plate. They are definitely focusing on GT-R's, Scoobys and Evos and turning away new work on other makes it seems unless you are a legacy customer. Nothing wrong in specialization and the coffee events are still worth attending if you are a car guy - there are always some sweet cars and usually a few disasters to laugh at. ie we like to play spot the worst stance/hellafrush
