Hardwired my dash cam into the fuse box on my 2010 E91 X-drive. Ordered a hardwire kit from Amazon and it was pretty easy . . . once I figured out what fuse to jump it off. Used the #5 (10 amp) for the cruise control. I do not want the dash cam running when the ignition is off - too much chance of messing up the electrical system, even with the kits that have the auto off when the battery gets too low.

Had to do a lot of poking around on the Internets and the Google machine to find a listing of the fuses and the circuits they control that uses words instead of those silly symbols. Finally found something in the Bentley manual but it is only partially correct for my car. But I was able to figure it out using a combination of the silly symbols list and the Bentley list. Not sure why BMW wants to keep this information such a secret.

Oh, and for good measure, swapped out the lock nuts on my wife's Toyota Venza for good ole' regular lug nuts. The only person those lock nuts keep from getting the wheels off are me if I can't find the key.

Did a power steering fluid flush using the pump method, and replaced the old o-ring gasket for the reservoir cap.
Highly recommend the CTA pump (got mine from fcpeuro)

I am tackling that this weekend; however, I am replacing the entire power steering reservoir as well since there is an internal filter.

You changed out my winter tires out on my 335i a month ago. I live in Michigan. I do have Michelin A/S +3's, which are rated fairly high in light snow. We have had the coldest April on record, over the last 165 years. I do like your jack. What kind is it and where did you get it?.

Yeah, I just got around to it a little later than I wanted.

As far as the jack, I got it from Harbor Freight. Pittsburgh Automotive 2-Ton Aluminum, Low Profile 3-3/8"

The jack has a solid rigid rubber mat which I think works great with our lift points. Saves the hassle of putting something between a normal jack and the lift point because of metal-to-metal contact. Have never had any issues with it and full confidence of use.

Funny thing. Last weekend I replaced the pipe off the Turbo with VRSF one...tried but could not get the third bolt off the Diverter valve from above to replace it with the GO FAST BITS one, checked the Serpentine belt while I was under the hood, the Thursday it decided to literally shred the belt. Replaced that with a new one, yesterday, stopped by the dealer for an Oil change, and was able to use the coupons for Brake Fluid Exchange, Oil change, AND they said lets do your airbag while yours here. so a few free snacks in the waiting area, and an hour and a half later....had all those finished.

-Replaced the silver/plastidipped finisher rods in the front bumper with new OE 325i rods (black)

-New aFe Power 5R drop-in air filter

-Replaced the entire power steering reservoir (built-in filter) and fresh fluid. Was a pain getting the lower/smaller hose off, just completely stuck-on since 2007 build date! Haha, was certainly time for replacement. Fluid was black, now clear/green! Loving it!

...and yes, that is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles towel!

Next up, cleaning my engine bay!

First car wash since getting Alzor 030s wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sports installed the other day. Also replaced engine and cabin air filters, and spent some time planning what to do about that wheel gap!

Love the wheels, very clean look to your E91! Hope you figure out the wheel gap, thought about KW V1s?

Thanks! Yup, that's the plan, actually. I've read a lot of good things about the V1s on here, so I'll probably pick up a set soon. Do you have experience with them?

I do not have any experience with them, yet. I also have an X-Drive/AWD, so I have been doing some research on the dreaded wheel gap as well. The KW V1s seem to be the favored option for quality and aesthetic purposes.
