Led Fog Lights

I didn't find anything where anybody has tried these bulbs. If anybody has, do they throw any codes and how well do they match the factory xenons?

they will throw codes so you would need to code them out.

What about the piaa led bulbs? I'm looking just to match to the headlight color and if i don't find the led's I'm just going to get the halogens that closely match.

what's your question? LEDs will throw codes... unless they say "can-bus" or some marketing stuff.

halogens won't throw codes but won't be that white

I have these in the fogs, they look great. They match well. You just need to code out the bulb check for no errors.

I am really digging that setup - what are you using for the fogs and AE? Great color/temp and brightness!

Those look really good!

I used the WeissLicht LED foglight bulbs on my E92.
No errors of any kind. No coding needed. Simple plug and play.

lol

I replied to the thread about the Philips Xtreme Vision Fogs saying I have them.

So to clarify, the fogs are PHILIPS and the corona rings (angel eyes) are HPB

I'll second that; pulled my LED replacements out after only two weeks, back with 6K HIDs. I did keep the LED flood lights and they are telling me the system did not like the change out. Can anyone point me to a " code out" link? 2007 335I Coupe

I was going to mention that you could probably use the HPB Angel Eyes in fog lights but for better output consider an HID kit.

It still needs to be an Canbus HID kit to work in the fogs. That's what I run. 4300K to match the OEM Low Beam Xenon.

How many of you are really interested in a designated LED Fog Light option with high output?

I can do some testing with HPB on my car to determine what would be the brightest and error free solution if there is enough interest.

I also have the Weisslicht bulbs mentioned above. They look a little different from each other in this pic because I have a new passenger side fog light housing and I need to polish up the lens on the original driver side one. No codes, but they gave this little flickering from a CANbus bulb test sequence when starting the car. I had that bulb test coded out.
