Agree. I just haven't done any electrical stuff so I'm trying to be cautious. What kind of damage can happen if I mess up this headlight electrical connection?

2. yea sounds good thats what i would do. make sure your tape it tight tho to seal it good. if possible use a wire strip if you have one, ya know 1 of those things that go over the wire then you heat it up to shrink it.... |

I'm stuck with two issues right now.
I can't remove the piece that holds the pins into the plug. (Step 7, picture 6 from Halogen to Xenon conversion DIY). I spent an hour trying to remove it with no luck. Also, the ground wire (#4, the thick brown wire) looks different and it doesn't come with the wires that I got from my seller. I don't think I can just use any kind of wire for this. I might have to abort this mod for now and reinstall the halogen headlights. Argggg..

The good thing about this thing is I learned quite a few tricks to doing the bumper and headlight removal the "easy" way.

Btw, I made the first headlight to work. Xenon FTW! I get an error though (as expected) and some buzzing sound sound.

Sorry guys, I've been away from the computer since yesterday.
So yeah I was able to complete the halogen to xenon mod but unfortunately I have quite a few issues (low-beam error, lighting system error, buzzing xenon lights, faster turn signal and intermittent loss of lowbeam). I'll post these issues to a new thread to hopefully get more feedback. But despite of these issues, having Xenon is well worth the issues (at least for now hehehe). Compared to halogens, it's night and day (literally!). Plus getting the angel eyes (with Predator upgrade as a bonus) is sick! Thanks all for helping/supporting me with this mod!

You might need a reprogram in order to get those headlights working properly. I hope you didnt grab the wrong wire lol. |

The reprogram will be needed but for now I need to fix the other errors that were not supposed to occur. I was worried about the wires I used as well. I'll take pic of the wires I used shortly. What types of wires should I use? What's the name and where I can buy them? Thanks Matt.
