Cabin Air Filter Replacement

Is the cabin air filter replaced under factory maintenance/warranty? Checked Idrive couldnt find any service intervals on that...not sure if it ever got replaced (30K miles). Got a musty smell coming from the a/c...this isnt an expensive item to purchase / replace but why not do it for free if its covered under maintenance / warranty. Please let me know!

Yes it's covered under warranty, check your work order sheets, it should show it if it was changed.

The cabin airfilter is covered under the maintenance program. The condition-based maintenace system does have a mileage interval for it. It is longer than 30,000 miles if I remember correctly. I don't have I-Drive so I don't know how to check it through there, but you can use the turn signal stalk to check the next service interval for the cabin filter.

The time indicator on mine was 37k miles / 24 months. It is covered in the free maintenance, but when that runs out ... replacing it is one of the easiest DIY jobs around. (less than $30 for the filter and about 10 minutes of time vs. more than $100 dollara at the dealer.)

Okay, just did mine. How do you reset the service indicator in Idrive?
