Hey Shiv. Is the canbus retrofit for the previous RevII harness available for sale at the moment? If not, when do we expect these to be ready for purchase?

Thanks.

Shiv stated that he has all the wires ready to go for the 300 people that have ordered REVII without the CANbus wires, problem is that his website guy is on vacation...Hope he gets back by this week!!!

All you nonCAN Rev.2 guys are going to do is:

Step 1
Update to the CANbus firmware

Step 2
Install the two wires "Ts" described in the video (green/white and blue/white). They just pop into the PROcede connector on one side and into the Grey subconnector patch on the other side.

That's it. Wont take more than a couple of minutes once the ECU/PROcede is exposed

i haven't had a chance to hook up the laptop yet for the stage 1 map that's loaded... I will say... it feels like a bat outta hell (i hate that expression) near the middle and top of 3rd gear... but actually feels a little weak in 2nd...(especially the very top of 2nd)

haven't had a chance to look at the 1st or 2nd gear torque nanny settings... is it scaled back in 2nd ??

gonna try to get some time to hook that up and look and test more...etc.. but probably not till weekend...

I was one of the first to PM / reply for the Sunny Sunday Extravaganza. I was thinking about waiting until I have the required hardware so that I can get the full effect and post a proper review for the boyz.

Let me know what time on Sunday so that I can get there early and take everything apart so can have quick access (don't want to waste too much of your time)

Thanks again!

+1

I was quite surprised at the stage 1's power.
My FATS times are around 4.6-4.7 seconds and the car pulls just as hard if not harder than when I was running the Non-Canbus stage 2 map.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...4&postcount=85

I'm kinda liking it!

As a reference point, Hit_Apex reported a FATS time of 4.7-4.9 secs running JB3 1.3 8C Map #6 - 6MT RRDP/SpearcoIC/DCI/93oct.

Looks good.

I was trying to find a way to coorelate 6AT to 6MT and I figure the easiest way would be to multiply by the difference in ratios. It may not be perfect but should be close enough. So...

To take a 6MT time and equate it to a 6AT, multiply by 0.925

To take a 6AT time and equate it to a 6MT, multiply by 1.08

My 5.2 would equate to 4.8 which is in the ballpark.

I plan on getting back out this weekend (when the rain finally clears) and retest on Stage 1 which I am running right now. I agree it does not have the as major of a kickas the Stage 3 map, but it pulls hard and seems willing to continue pulling. I hope my wires come in soon as when they do and I go to install them, I'll drop the DCI's back in.

I guess I need to look it up but do you know if the gearing is different in the xi?

Did you get my email?

I got your email, thanks. I'm gonna get to work on the app when I get back

I'm not sure about the XI gearing.. but I haven't ever seen/read/heard about any differences.

Cool. I just updated the FATS page to normalize to the 6AT. I'll look up the xi gearing and if different, enter options for that as well and then resend the file to you.

xi have the same individual and final ratios as the 2WD counterparts, transmission specific of course.
